Our original lightweight down jacket is built for year-round use and all-mountain activities. Designed to be low bulk, easy to layer, or stashed in a pack, it’s built with micro baffles around the body and shoulders, with smaller nano baffles under the arms for better breathability. Filled with down and finished with a Pertex® Quantum outer, it’s lightweight, breathable, warm, and windproof. Durable, versatile, and one of our bestsellers, it’s a favourite with climbers, hikers, and mountaineers worldwide.

Excellent well made Rab jacket ...love the out side chest zip pocket to fit my iPhone Max pro ..an important design feature for quick access while out in the field requiring apps for photography.

Great down jacket

The Rab Microlight jacket is a cut down version of the Microlight Alpine jacket. It has no hood, but is quite warm for its weight. I am able to hike in wintery Tasmania with no problems. It does its job, and that’s all I can ask of it. I probably wouldn’t wear it in rain, or I would cover it with a rain shell. So, great jacket for after the end of the day, after the hike!
