Great lightweight jacket!
I love this jacket. Warm, light and stylish. Perfect for layering but works really well as a fleece alternative.
Fits true to size. I bought size L and i'm 6'0" tall and 88kgs
Designed for unpredictable conditions and fluctuating activity levels, this lightweight synthetic insulated jacket delivers a finely tuned balance of warmth and breathability to keep the wearer comfortable no matter how the day unfolds. It is filled with dual-weight PrimaLoft® Gold Active+ insulation, which is strategically lighter in high-heat areas to better regulate body temperature. Exceptionally versatile, the jacket can serve as a technical outer layer during swift summer ascents or as a reliable midlayer in colder weather. Now updated with a new, even more breathable lining, the Xenair Alpine Light is engineered to respond seamlessly to changes in pace and temperature—removing layers becomes a thing of the past.
This jacket is built for elevation, with articulated sleeves refined for climbing and scrambling, and a low-profile hood designed to sit comfortably beneath a helmet. Three zipped pockets offer room for trail essentials, including a chest pocket that doubles as a stuff sack with a convenient harness attachment loop. Elasticated cuffs accommodate gloves with ease, while a single-sided rear hem adjustment helps seal out the chill when conditions turn brisk.
With its innovative lining and body-mapped insulation, the Xenair Alpine Light Jacket ensures adaptable comfort through every high-energy pursuit.

Body mapping technology
Fabric is carefully chosen based on the specific demands of each area of the body—whether it calls for greater stretch, enhanced protection, or improved breathability. This thoughtful placement results in more efficient performance gear, tailored to both the activity and the environment, ensuring lasting comfort from the first stride to the final step.

Quality piece of clothing - good fit and well made from quality materials
I am 190cm 100kg and the XXL is a good fit - able to get a base & midlayer underneath while also fitting under a puffer and hard shell
I use this jacket as a duel use item
An example would be as a light weight insulation layer over base and mid layer on cool mornings which I remove before shooting field archery / hunting
Or on Colder mornings over a Marino base layer under a down puffer which I remove before shooting leaving the xenair as a wind proof active insulation layer
Works well in both capacities
Zippers are good quality and the hood is close fitting and works well over a baseball hat or under a helmet to keep the cold off the back of your neck and ears
Only criticism is there are no pit vents to help dump heat when you work a bit harder walking uphill and you start to heat up
