After a day in climbing shoes, mountaineering boots, or ski boots, the Cirrus Hut Boots offer a soft, warm cocoon to worn out feet. Keeping you toasty to the tips of your toes, they extend up around the ankle and are perfect for use in mountain huts, draughty bothies, or just for relaxing at home on winter’s night by the fire.
The Cirrus Hut Boots are filled with PrimaLoft® Silver Insulation Luxe, a synthetic insulation made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic bottle chips. They have a recycled nylon lining and a breathable and weather resistant recycled Pertex® Quantum outer.
The lower edge of the boot is reinforced with tough nylon with a cushioned EVA foam footbed and a flexible, non-slip sole.
PrimaLoft® Silver Insulation Luxe™
A 100% recycled synthetic insulation with a luxuriously silky texture that mimics the performance of down. Providing warmth without bulk and highly compressible, it's ideal for mountain activities even in damp conditions.
Pertex® Quantum
A soft, lightweight, windproof fabric that encourages insulation to fully loft. Highly packable and protective, it's ideal for mountain activities.
Great for huts and travel with only one small note. I can feel the inner seam on my toes and needed to put an insole in them to not feel the seam material.
The boots pack away relatively small, and are very warm. There’s not much support around the sides, so you wouldn’t want to walk over particularly steep terrain. Strongly recommend for cold hut floors.
So far they are great - taken to wearing them as house shoes!!!
These are an expensive luxury which once you have worn soon become a necessity. Save up and treat yourself. You won't be sorry.
