Exceptional Value!

I haven't used them yet, but my wife recently hit the hills and found them to be a huge help! Much to her amusement, she successfully managed to navigate a bog whereas her tramping partner (without poles) did not...

Very well constructed, comfortable to use and light.

Sold on Poles

Never used poles before. Will be part of essential kit from now on. Had problems with the strap release/lock on one pole initially due to it being jammed tight on delivery. Think I have managed to fix it - time will tell. You need to know when to put them away when bordering on technical climbing - they can be a real hinderance. Use the snow shoes even in summer - mountain meadows are regularly spongy and the straight pole can quickly disappear under you. Great sidling big scree slopes top side pole short, down side pole long. Great for balance and stability. Check cam lock screws for tension daily to ensure tight grip. Love them. Can't see why people would pay more for any other pole.
