Already the ultimate tent for extreme minimalists
Overview
Already the ultimate tent for extreme minimalists, Hornet Elite OSMO takes it to the next level with thoughtful updates and our new proprietary OSMO™ fabric. Delivering 4x better water repellency and 3x less stretch when wet, our new OSMO tent fabric is also made from 100% recycled yarns free from any PFC or PFAS. The first of its kind, it was carefully designed for both exceptional performance and reduced impact on the planet.
The Elite moniker means we’ve examined every detail of this tent for weight savings and performance enhancement. The poles are top-shelf DAC Featherlite. Every stitch, cord, and webbing detail is optimized for weight and strength. Our Nightlight Pocket™ headlamp diffuser adds a warm glow at night without the weight of built-in lighting. And our patent-pending Flybar™ volumizing pole clip brings headroom to the interior volume without adding unnecessary ounces. The Hornet Elite OSMO tent also features our convenient new Gatekeeper™ door tie-back and our Divvy Cube™ rectangular stuff sack that nests more efficiently in your pack and allows you to split the weight with a partner. By driving technology and design forward, NEMO’s Hornet Elite OSMO is a maximalist approach to minimalist design.

Features
- High-performance, proprietary OSMO poly-nylon ripstop fabric has 4x longer water repellency and 3x less stretch when wet. OSMO fabric is made from 100% recycled yarns that are PFC- and PFAS-free and meet flame retardancy standards without the use of added chemicals.
- Generous doors and vestibules for each person with Gatekeeper door tie-backs provide more coverage and ease of entry.
- New Divvy Cube rectangular stuff sack allows you to still split the weight with your partner, but packs more efficiently in your backpack.
- Patent-pending Flybar volumizing pole clip adds more room at the head and distributes fly tension evenly.
- Triangulated volumizing guy-outs at corners increase volume at the foot, protecting sleeping bags from tent wall condensation.
- Nightlight Pockets turn your headlamp into a tent lantern while removing blue light and casting an even glow.
- DAC Featherlite poles boast minimal weight and connect with a single hub for lightning-quick setup.
- 100% recycled Repreve® pole bag replaces disposable packaging as part of our 100K Polybag Elimination Project.
