Make time for the outdoors
Blackout sleeping areas sit at opposite ends of a central living space. With a 210 cm peak height and four included awning poles, Discovery 6 gives family camping a flexible layout.
Blackout sleeping fabric reduces early sunlight and campsite lighting. Close the bedroom doors when it is time to settle in, and keep the tent ventilated as directed.
Keep mattresses in the sleeping areas and use the centre for bags, changing and time together. Four awning poles are included to extend one full side awning.
Colour-coded poles help you follow the pitching sequence. The instructions stay sewn into the carry bag, ready when it is time to set up or pack away.

Yes. The sleeping area uses blackout fabric to reduce incoming light. Close the bedroom doors for the darkest sleeping space; vestibules and living areas do not provide the same blackout enclosure.
This is a pole-frame dome tent. Follow the colour-coded pole system and the instructions sewn into the carry bag. It does not require an inflation pump.
The Discovery 6 comes with 4 × awning poles, enough to extend one full side awning or to use however you see fit. Additional poles can be purchased if you would also like to pole out each end of the tent or the full symmetrical side awning.
The fly has a 5,000 mm waterproof rating. Correct pitching, fly tension and secured guylines remain essential. Keep ventilation points open as directed to help manage condensation.
The tent has its own floor. The matching protective footprint is an optional accessory sold separately.

Contact our teamEasy to set up tent, it took us just 20 minutes the first time. We used to use an air tent, and this tent is as easy to pitch as our air tent. The weight and size are really good if you want to save space in the car. The blackout rooms are great. We camped for two nights in very windy conditions and the tent didn’t budge. The only downside is that when it’s very windy, the tent flap or cover makes a loud flapping noise. Coming from an air tent that didn’t have a second cover, we didn’t experience that before.
Overall, it’s a really good tent for a family.
Compact but still plenty of room! Love that you can get in from front, back or sides!
Happy with my purchase.
Purchased the Discovery 6 blackout due to our previous tent getting destroyed in some of the bad weather this summer. The team at Dwight’s were awesome and made sure we got our tent on time for our second attempt at camping this summer. Ironically we headed away with our new tent into yet another storm and it held up wonderfully in the torrential rain. Here’s hoping we get to try it out in some proper summer weather soon!
