Looks to be more comfortable than my previous mat and I like the slightly larger outer ribs. Only downfall is the compression bag being difficult to load the mat into , guess practice makes perfect.
Look, I am a geek. I chose this sleeping pad by using a spread sheet to evaluate specs between pads. After weighing up the price, weight, thickness , insulation and inclusion of the inflation sack- this was a total no-brainer.
I have only used it for two nights near Waiuru (cold kiwi) which got down to -3 both nights. The sleeping pad is beautifully warm, supremely comfortable and the raised side ribs work extremely well to keep you centered. I toss and turn, i sleep on both sides, and my front and my back and I didn't feel the ground once.
This also packs up reasonably small and has done well to reduce the luggage carried on my bike.
In conclusion- don't be afraid to take a punt on this one, 10/10 would trade again.
