Rab Men's Borealis Alpine Hooded Jacket

This is the alpine adaptation of the classic all-rounder softshell, reimagined with a sleek silhouette and carefully chosen features tailored for technical ascents. It is purpose-built for use with a harness or backpack, featuring a chest pocket that remains accessible mid-climb and a hood designed to sit neatly beneath a helmet. Crafted from breathable, wind-resistant fabric, the Borealis Alpine Hoody efficiently manages moisture and helps regulate body temperature while scaling exposed, blustery terrain.

Features

• The lightweight Matrix™ single weave nylon provides two-way stretch, granting unrestricted movement on steep climbs.
• A YKK® front zip is fitted with a chin guard for added comfort during long wear.
• The hood is low in bulk with an elasticated binding, offering wind protection and a secure fit beneath a helmet.
• Elasticated cuffs deliver a snug seal against the wind without adding excess material.
• When an extra layer is no longer needed, the hoody packs neatly into its own chest pocket and can be clipped to a harness for convenience.
• A single-sided hem adjustment allows for a personalised fit while keeping weight to a minimum.
