warm and comfortable to sleep on
Can highly recommend this Mattress was a bit skeptical as all other Mattresses with this RV rating are very expensive have just come out of a hunting trip in the alpine hills of South Islands West Coast and can not say enough about these, very comfortable, so warm, have had the best sleeps possible when sleeping on the ground, the price is great. Would definately buy again when needed.
Small pack size which is excellent as it will fit into my panniers. Easy to inflate with the bag supplied. And is really comfortable. No back complaints in the morning. No air loss over night. Easy to deflate and repack. Did I mention how comfortable it was ?
Highly recommended.
I'm a cold sleeper and tested this at -1 at home, under a tarp, and on concrete. I was warm and cosy.
I've since used it tramping in my single skin tent, at 1300m with 70-80% snow cover around me. My tent was slightly under trees, off the snow, but on wet ground. Overnight the tarns froze to the extent that I had to try hard to break the surface with a stone. I was warm and comfortable.
This mattress is 12cm of pure comfort and it's incredibly warm. I'm amazed by how good it is. I'm usually in huts in the colder months and now I'm planning tramping and camping trips using this mattress.
It will be my camping mattress as it takes up little space in my car. I can use it on the ground, on a stretcher and in my swag. It's also my winter tramping mattress. Sure, I could get one that's 300- 400gms lighter, but at double the price.
The MaxComfort R7.2 for the win, and it doesn't sound like a chip bag.
From reading the specs on this mat I got a good feeling. What I didn’t expect was just how comfortable it would actually be. It’s been used on a few camps now and all have been cold. Either directly on the ground or or up on a stretcher I had a warm, comfortable nights rest. The back up was simple as well and the valve system easy to navigate. I’m looking forward to being the envy on my next group tramp. Thank you Dwight’s Outdoors
