One Planet Sac -1 (1000 Grams)
The Sac is an excellent, all-purpose sleeping bag made using the latest in synthetic fill technology. The Thermolink fill is exceptionally strong, warm and lightweight, encased in a highly breathable, Non PFC water-repellent and durable 20 D Vapour Vent V2 shell. The roomy, tapered rectangular bags are easy to care for and stay warm when wet, with options available in three temperature ratings (ISO 23537.1 limit of comfort -1, -5 and -8°C) in regular and large sizes. The full-length YKK #5 zip has an anti-snag slider and opens at both ends for easy venting.
FEATURES
- Tapered rectangular shape offers versatility and roomy comfort for the SAC synthetic sleeping bag

Temp Ratings
One Planet sleeping bags are rated using the international standard for sleeping bag performance, ISO 23537-1. (This is a revised version of European Standard EN 13537.) This means every sleeping bag has two ‘real world’ and one extreme rating. To determine what temperature might be most suitable for you see our technical pages.
- ‘Comfort’ rating is based on a ‘standard’ woman having a comfortable night’s sleep.
- ‘Limit of comfort’ is based on the lowest temperature at which a ‘standard’ man is deemed to be able to have a comfortable night’s sleep. This is the figure we use in our product descriptions.
- ‘Extreme’ rating is a survival rating for a ‘standard’ woman. According to ISO 23537-1, ‘a strong sensation of cold has to be expected and there is a risk of health damage due to hypothermia’. This is a survival rating only, and consumers should not rely on this rating for general use. The best guidelines are the comfort and limit of comfort ratings.
Thermolink
This bonded fibre weighs less and packs down smaller than competing synthetic fills, making our bags lighter and more compact while maintaining comfort and durability. The secret is in the manufacturing process: thousands of hollow fibres are sandwiched between a high-density thermal barrier and a fine, soft, body-conforming radiant retention layer to form one continuous sheet of Thermolink fibre. As it is one continuous layer, there aren’t any gaps for heat to escape, leading to better performance than traditional baffled fills.
