With midweight fleece and Thermic™ stretch side panels, our new Capacitor Hoody is a warm, fast-wicking midlayer to keep you comfortable on active days in the mountains.

The Capacitor Hoody is built from 100% recycled brushed fleece and lighter Thermic™ stretch side panels for a trim, athletic fit and flexibility during arduous climbs. Designed as a modern take on the classic 200-weight fleece, it provides the optimal balance between warmth and breathability for mixed mountain sport, alongside a fresher, lower-profile aesthetic for more casual everyday use. The Thermic™ stretch fleece panels in the sides, sleeves and hood improve mobility and create a much sleeker, more athletic fit for easier, more comfortable layering between a fast-wicking base and a waterproof shell.

With a full-length front zip, zipped hand pockets, a secure chest pocket and a helmet-compatible hood, the new Capacitor Hoody is ideal either as a standalone piece or as a winter midlayer for high-tempo hill work.

Glass half Full

First off, excellent service by the Dwights Team. Order through to delivery smooth as silk. Now for the jacket, runs a little long in the arms( I think this is just a Rab thing) and the main material seems a little thin. (Haven’t used it yet in any cold situations) . Purchased this on the back of its description “ Designed as a modern take on the classic 200-weight fleece” . I have two 200 weight polartec jackets , and this jacket feels very much like a 100 weight( once again haven’t used yet, just my opinion on how it feels). It’s also quite roomy, I’m a size large and I feel you could have another fleece underneath this. I look forward to using it next winter as a throw on for knock about activities, and 200 weight polartecs for the colder windy days.Hope this helps future buyers.
