The Sirac 65 is ideal for long backpacking trips and self-sufficient treks over difficult terrain. It arrived and was tested the same day on a 6hour hike mast as Cyclone Hale arrived! It performed well but I’m a little sus about the straps securing the top lid, they look a little flimsy but time will tell. Other than that it was value for price in the Boxing Day sales! Cheers
First trip for my Serac was above Green Lake in Fiordland and after 7hrs on the go I couldn't have been more happy. The only slight pressure point was the bottom of the hip belt, but I think that came more from the belt on my shorts. A small zip poket inside the top main pocket for keys and credit cards would be a bonus. Pack material feel nice and strong and looks like it could handle a good shower of rain before pulling out the rain cover. Really good access to the side pouches to grab a water bottle and all this for under 2kg. Don't over look this pack if looking to upgrade or buy your first pack.
