The original New Zealand Made Thermette.

Invented in NZ by John A Hart in 1929!

The Thermette delivers boiling water quickly because the proven design uses a unique cone-shaped internal wall so that heat is distributed to a large surface area surrounded by water, while simultaneously funneling heat up to the top where a pot or frying pan can be used for cooking. All that is required is a good supply of dry twigs and a lighter (a bit of fire accelerant never goes amiss if you are in a hurry or have wet conditions)

Thermette is proudly made in New Zealand

Thermette includes
• 1 x Solid Copper Thermette
• 1 x Cooking ring
• 1 x Galvanised fire ring

Thermette dimensions
• Height – 38cm tall
• Weight – 1.7kg
• Water volume – 2.2 litre

Note: Do not allow to boil dry as this will overheat the unit, resulting in damage to the welds.

Really chuffed.

Excellent and fast service.

I have a thing about owning a thermette, just like my dad did🥹.

And now thanks to Copper thermette I do. Thank you the service was amazingly quick and efficient.

Now to go and enjoy that special cuppa in a special place.

Great but be careful not to run it out of water

Great little camping essential that heats water in less than 5 minutes anywhere.

All you need are a fre sticks and a dry box of matched or lighter.

The thing boils very quickly and you have to be careful not to run out of water as I did the first time I used mine.

The solder melted and the handle dropped off. Re-soldered then wasn't paying attention while cooking on the top and run it out of water again.... handles dropped off again.

You just have ti be careful not to let it boil dry that's all.

Otherwise brilliant little bit od camping kit.

Memories

My Nan took one of these everytime we went to the river, fishing, swimming, both good memories.

I cannot wait to use. I i especially like the top for extra cooking options.
