The Thermette delivers boiling water quickly because the proven design uses a unique cone-shaped internal wall so that heat is distributed to a large surface area surrounded by water, while simultaneously funneling heat up to the top where a pot or frying pan can be used for cooking. All that is required is a good supply of dry twigs and a lighter (a bit of fire accelerant never goes amiss if you are in a hurry or have wet conditions)

It was exactly as I hoped it would be. I had one before and gave one as a wedding present once. This is a replacement item for me as I love a cuppa tea by a river when taking a drive.

Such a great product. Uses very little fuel. Great way to heat water and cook at same time. I thought the wire handles would get hot, but they don't as long as they aren't resting against body of thermette.
Love these Thermettes. Super fast to use. Takes up no space when traveling. They're the Best gift you can give any outdoor person.
