For groups travelling fast and light in the mountains, on foot, two wheels, or even for adventure racing, the SilTarp 3 offers a flexible, lightweight alternative to a tent. Versatile and durable, it can be easily stashed or pulled out, and setup up quickly, weighing in at just 655g and packing down to 25cm x 19cm. It also offers additional shelter for your team at basecamp, providing a dry place to sit.

The 3m x 3.66m, large rectangular tarp is made from tough, siliconised 30D Cordura with a PU coating. Ultralight and waterproof, it’s incredibly strong and resilient. The 20 guy points are reinforced for strength and offer a variety of different setup options with one central lifter point.

Used at the top of the world

I have used the RAB Siltarp a lot on my adventures to give me some additional coverage from the elements and have found it works really well. Lots of tie out loops and it packs away nice and small. On a recent trek up to the tops of the Tararuas I ditched my tent and decided to camp under the tarp only. What a great decision it was as well. I had a direct view of the night sky and the landscape would never have accommodated at tent. The RAB Siltarp combated the wind extremely well and using my two walking poles it become home for the night. I look forward to using it again soon 5 stars for me on this one ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great product

I purchased this as an emergency shelter/ back up tent. It now comes with me on my day trips out hunting and the overnighter. Packs small and can configure it in different ways as a set up.

Popped it up as a quick shelter when it started to rain and used it as quick set up tent when we decided to stay out over night. Have to say it's a very good product and part of the first things I pack now. A very important piece of kit to have. Well worth the purchase.
