Super light/waterproof

Hunted everywhere for this RAB Veil lightweight WATERPROOF hiking day bag that I could also use sometimes when cycling to work. Thank goodness it wasn't too far away, just across the ditch in NZ. I got an NZPost tracking ID and it arrived safe and sound in my mailbox. So surprised at just how lightweight it is and it can pack down small too when not in use.

The outside pockets are super handy when out bush as are the front pockets which fit my iphone max on one side and my cards/ID/snacks in the other. I use the side pockets for water, and appreciate the zipped section for storing keys etc that I need easy access to.

On work days I use the water bladder pocket to store my laptop and the trekking pole long pockets to stash my video tripod when cycling to work :) Probably not what they were made for but clearly this works well in the city and out in the wild.

Hip belt sits on waist

Hip belt sits too high so you will end up with it around your waist with a sore back - not optimal. No way of adjusting this. I brought the same size as my older RAB daypack so really disappointed
