Only completed one short walk in these but initially minimal discomfort, despite having to use thicker orthotics for metatarsalgia. Not many wide boot options available, these seemed the best. Really comfortable around the ankles. Extra width at the forefoot and not the heel (good if like me you have skinny heels and wide toes).
Extremely light and grippy.
Will use them for hunting in the national parks for day and the odd over nighter
No break in needed. Light weight but offers more support than trainers. Need to play with lacing between steep ascents/descents. Overall comfortable for 5 days in Nelson Lakes Travers/Sabine.
Excellent, well fitting, lightweight but supportive, wide fit for Kiwi feet, when going through rivers no excess water remaining to slop around,my only (small) gripe is the laces are fiddly to fit back through the holes if taken out.Would buy again.
