The Nitecore NB20000 GEN3 is a lightweight and compact power bank relative to it's huge 20000 mAh capacity, and is useful for long weekends away from home, or the commuter who relies on a good power source.
The body is made from carbon fibre reinforced polymer and has a hollowed frame to give the NB20000 GEN3 its lightweight design, but also provide high strength and impact resistance to protect the cell. The interwoven carbon fibre sheets stabilise the cell for safe use, and the power bank has multiple safeguards such as overcurrent, short circuit, over-discharge, over charge, over voltage and thermal protection.
It is perfect for charging a range of devices such as torches, mobile phones, tablets and portable game consoles. It also features a low current charging mode which is useful for charging wearables such as wireless head phones and smart watches. External devices are easily and conveniently charged via either one of two 18 W standard USB-C ports.
To access the low current charging mode, simply double press the mode button and a white LED indicator will turn on to show low current mode has been accessed. Once you have charged your device on low current mode it is recommended to exit this mode by pressing the mode button and the white light turns off.
When connected to a USB power source the blue LED charging indicators built into the mode button will flash in turn as it charges up, and all four lights will be solid blue once the NB20000 GEN3 is fully charged.
While being charged via the single USB-C input the NB20000 GEN3 can also still charge external devices at the same time via either of the USB-C ports.
The mode button will also display the power status with a single press, so you always know how much power you have left when not in use, or while being discharged. Four lights is 100%, three lights is 75%, two lights is 50%, one light is 25% and one light flashing means the battery is near depletion and requires charging as soon as possible.
With a IPX5 rating, the NB20000 GEN3 is ready to accompany you on your adventures with rain or shine, making it a reliable and durable power source whether you're trail running, camping or commuting.
The NB20000 GEN3 is airline approved (Excluding in China) with a rated capacity of less than 100 Wh, which makes it the perfect compact travel companion for charging devices on the move.
Please Note: When it reaches 45 W it will automatically regulate it's output according to it's working status to maintain the optimal performance and prolong the lifespan of the battery.
