The Crispi Lapponia EVO GTX is an extremely lightweight ankle-height lace-up boot designed for hiking, trekking, hunting, and all-day outdoor use. Built on a men’s wide last, it offers a comfortable fit with the support and protection needed for long days on varied terrain.

The boot features a durable Nubuck leather upper with a Cordura collar and a GORE-TEX® waterproof membrane to keep your feet dry while remaining breathable. A full high-rise triple-stitched rubber rand adds protection around the boot, helping guard against rocks, scrub, and rough ground.

Some good, some bad

I bought these to upgrade my cheap boots. I was looking for a lightweight boot and came across some good reviews of the Lapponia. On receiving my boots I was dissapointed that the size 44 was 80 grams heavier (620g) than the advertised weight for a size 42 (540g). It would have been more honest if the advertising stated that each size increase added 40 grams.

I have worn these for three 20k hikes involving a lot of climbing and descents without any problems. One noticable positive it that while I have been sweating alot on some of the hikes, my socks at the end of the hike have remained dry - usually quite damp.

The main downside of this boot and why I would not recommend it is that the soles are very slippery, particularly on damp stones and rocks, so much so that I have to be ultra careful crossing streams or walking on rocky tracks. I had no such issues with my cheap Kathmandu boots over the last few years, so this is a big downside of these boots. Just hoping that the more I wear them the more grippy they become
