ULTRALIGHT | WARM | PACKABLE | RECYCLED MATERIALS

 

The lightest jacket in our Mythic series slashes weight and maximises warmth with body mapped insulation and ultralight construction. Down filled baffles are centred around the core while resilient synthetic insulation on the sides, cuffs, shoulders, and base of the hood breathes and manages moisture efficiently. Using only the best insulation, 900FP down and PrimaLoft® Gold, this jacket is incredibly warm for its weight and bulk.

To keep weight at a minimum we used an ultralight 10D outer which is 100% recycled. This Pertex® Quantum fabric with built-in ripstop is strong, durable, weather protective and feels soft to the touch. Designed with a slim fit and pre curved sleeves for complete freedom to move, it’s easy to layer or stow until needed. The result is a lightweight, robust and packable insulated jacket for all winter mountain adventures, from mixed climbing and alpinism to ski touring and mountaineering.

Excellent Service!!

Just received my jackets, so my first review is about the service. Great communication — they responded to my query about shipping to Australia within an hour. Fast delivery — it took only 4 days to arrive in Australia. The website is great: user-friendly, excellent prices, and the jackets look and feel like good quality.

My suggestion: order one size up, as they have a very tight fit. I’ll review the quality further after returning from the Overland Track in Tasmania.

Excellent product and super fast service.

The RAB Mythic Alpine Light jacket appears to be excellent quality and is very light weight.

I went with a 2XL as I am somewhere between an XL and a 2XL depending on the manufacturer. (182cm/97kg) If anything the jacket is a little large but the sleeve length is perfect and having some more room allows for layering so it’s probably not a bad thing.

I’m also super impressed with the service from Dwight’s Outdoors. I didn’t realise I was ordering from an NZ supplier but it didn’t matter as the price was good, shipping was free and it got to me in about a week.

Can’t ask for much more than that.
