Victorinox Climber

I bought my first Swiss Army Knife when I was a teenager on a language exchange in Switzerland. That was more than forty years ago 😳 Of course I chose the Swiss Champ 🤣, as being the only time I'd be able to afford such a knife (as well as being a teenager who thought that bigger was better 🤪). I loved it, but it was not exactly easy to carry around every day!

I always had a hankering for a Climber. I always thought that it had exactly the right combination of tools for the type of outdoor activities that I enjoyed. I was involved in Scouts, so we were regularly climbing, abseiling, hiking, camping, caving and canoeing, as well I'm just generally spending lots of time outdoors. It's taken me forty plus years to finally fulfill my dream, and I'm not disappointed. I generally keep it as my 'weekend' carry, and use the smaller Compact for my working day. It's a great pocket companion and I'm happy to have it.

Not cheap but very light which is what I wanted for travelling and very good quality. I have had some cheaper copies but they are not even close to the quality of this
