Very comfy and waterproof
I bought these boots for doing the Kepler Great Walk, then the Milford Great Walk over the last 2 weeks. I wore them for a couple of short (2 hour) walks before to get used to them and see if they were comfy, and then for the 2 four-day great walks - they were super comfy! No blisters or rubbing, and no sore feet (unlike my family who had much stiffer soled boots). I did have to make sure the laces closest to my toes were not pulled too tight to make sure they didn't feel tight, but once I did that I had absolutely no problems. We also had a very rainy Milford walk, and the boots kept my feet dry - it was only when it was hosing down and I did not wear waterproof pants that rain ran down my legs and into the boots, but no water got through the boots fabric.
