Embark on every trail with confidence, comfort, and superior performance. The Peak XV Cork & Carbon Hiking Poles in Antishock edition offer the perfect balance of lightweight agility, premium ergonomics, and advanced shock-absorbing technology. Crafted from 100% carbon fibre, they deliver robust support without weighing you down—even better, they now feature a spring-loaded antishock system to soften impact and ease stress on knees and joints during long hikes.

The ergonomic cork handles provide a sweat-wicking, blister-resistant grip that remains comfortable mile after mile. The Cam-Lock mechanism allows seamless length adjustment—from 63 cm to 135 cm—so you can customise for uphill climbs, downhill descents, or level terrain. When your adventure pauses, these poles collapse to a compact 52.8 cm, ideal for stashing in your backpack.

At just 236 g per pole, this updated antishock version remains featherlight yet rugged, perfect for extensive treks. They come fully equipped with high-traction tungsten carbide tips, paired with rubber tips, mud baskets and snow baskets—ready for any terrain or condition.

Why You'll Love the Antishock Upgrade:

  • Spring-Loaded Antishock System: Minimises impact on joints for smoother, less-fatiguing hikes.

  • Ultralight & Durable: Carbon fibre construction keeps each pole at just 236 g without sacrificing strength.

  • Fully Adjustable: Dial in your ideal fit with easy Cam-Lock adjustment from 63 cm to 135 cm.

  • Comfort Ergonomics: Cork handles deliver excellent grip while reducing sweat and blisters.

  • Trail-Ready Accessories: Includes rubber tips, plus mud & snow baskets.

First timer

I normally don't carry walking poles but aging knees have forced me to rethink that attitude.

These poles are light, the locking mechanisms are solid (one of my objections with older poles) and the handles are comfortable and versatile enough to be used in a variety of grips. They are particularly good on steep downhill tracks and water crossings. If you're not using them they pack away to almost nothing.

This is my first pair of poles and I'm very happy with them. So are my knees 😎

Lightweight and strong

Have used these once for Tongariro Crossing. The poles are very light and seem to have held up just fine so far. Antishock seems like a nice to have, rather than a must have, but I found the shock absorption to work fine.
