These boots are very expensive, but stand up to the punishment. I'm always tramping in very rough terrain . They are constantly wet and muddy. as long as you don't cross very deep rivers I have so far had dry feet.
They have some very clever design features that make them easy to use. The grip is also fantastic in slippery conditions. They are also very good at preventing ankles rolling. Trust me, I have tried rolling my ankles a few times and they have saved me.
I would highly recommend the prescribed conditioning cream to preserve the leather, It is very effective.
I have already trapped over 100km in these and they have never disappointed. Looking forward to many years of use.
