The first one I bought from hunting and fishing in Kaitaia was faulty so I returned it and bought another more expensive compass. The same as the one on this page. I traveled to the UK with it and about half way through my trip it started malfunctioning. It will not point north, was very confusing until I realised it was broken. I don’t understand why. I will go back to the store but can’t find the receipt. This product is very disappointing!
