I have complete confidence in these new poles after a brutal but good few days up in the Kainanawas. The quality is excellent, I love the strong cam locks, and they are ridiculously light. In fact, lighter that most of the Black Diamond ones but at a fraction of the price. Nice one Dwights!
These Peak XV poles are excellent. Lightweight with proper clamps for height adjustment and I just love the cork grips.
Strong and sturdy and yet light and easy to use
Took the poles on a 4 hour walk and was surprised at how much better I went; faster and easier. First time I have use walking poles and being 77 years old my balance is not what it used to be. I felt much more confident walking on very uneven ground, over tree roots and downhill. I am tall so had the poles out to almost max length and did notice quick a bit of flex. perhaps the aluminum poles would be better for me.
