Super lite and water tight

Used the Freelite this weekend and I’m super super happy with weight and how dry I stayed. I have use the tent once so far this weekend and the wind was howling and it pored. I thought I would have a easy weekend in low altitude. I was a great weekend apart from the night. I stayed dry and everything inside stayed dry. I didn’t get much sleep but I am happy. I am off next weekend to Mt Kosciusko and I’m sure I will sleep well knowing I will be warm and dry.

MSR Freelite

Only used once so far , over all we like the tent although found it a little smaller than expected but when you have a tent this light you have to compromise somewhere.

If you are after a two person tent in this weight range I would recommend getting the three person tent for a bit more space with very little extra weight.

Well thought-out design and features

I wanted double-wall with two reasonably sized vestibules and I like the square footprint. About 1kg packaed weight is great too
