We had some heavy rain this week, so I put the coat on and walked around outside. The coat covered me very well, and did not let any water in. The coat is well made, and looks good. I would certainly recommend this. Most rain jackets only cover to just below the waist. This coat covers to below the knees.

After searching all over the place we finally found this decent quality, longer line raincoat. Perfect fit. Although we haven't had to put it to the 'rain' test yet, I'm sure it will do the job of keeping the shorts dry, admirably.
