The materials we use in the dome tents are certainly waterproof enough, they breathe well, and the tent materials are strong enough. The Escape Trio has a super strong Double Pole frame system that will withstand almost any any weather conditions, and eight separate fly sections can be operated independently for ventilation or as awnings to keep the sun off.

been camping the with family and upgraded to this 3br tent, very spacious and can accommodate enough stuff we normally carry for the whole week in the camp.
We purchased two Trios for our Scout Troop. Excellent tents, quick and easy to put up, strong in the Wellington winds and rain we have, durable pole sets, guy ropes and fly fixings. Our Scouts are able to put up and take these tents down themselves after a small bit of instruction first up.
We took the Trios to the Scout jamboree of 11 days, 10 nights and they performed really well in hot, dusty and windy conditions as you are able to ventilate them with doors open on each sides.
Have been caught in a storm of big winds and plenty of rain on another trip and the tents handled them no problem.

Got the Escape Trio 280 for our Christmas, New Year whanau gathering. Everyone loved it. Great for the wind we had; kept bugs out; very roomy.
Over the Christmas, New Year period ourselves and several families camped at Foxton Beach. We had recently purchased an Escape Trio 280. It is easy to erect. Over this time we had pouring rain and 120KPH Full on!!! Winds. Looking at the different tents that were in our group the Trio was much sturdier than the other tents, including those from other creditable suppliers of tents... Basically the 2 pole strength system. Many people commented on how strong this set up was. Very happy!

Escape Trio 280 a great starter tent used for 4 years camping. Easy to set up and take down. Also light. Was in a storm when we were in Kerikeri and the tent stayed firm all through this. We have now moved to the Homestead Deluxe for more great camping!
